How to install
1. Place Q's Revenge in your 'Kaleidoscope Color Schemes' folder, within your 'Extensions', which resides in your System Folder on your startup disk.
How to use Q's Revenge
Open the Kaleidoscope control Panel, and select 'Q's Revenge' from the scrolling list of installed color schemes. You can click on the large 'Q's Revenge' text at the top of the window to get some info on Q's Revenge.
Recommended Use:
Fonts - Chicago 12 for the System font, and Geneva 10 for the Finder view font (via the 'Views' control panel).
Colors - I would set the Finder background color to (dark green):
Red: 0
Blue: 38
Green: 38
or set the background color to (gray):
Red: 68
Blue: 68
Green: 68
And the selection color (via the 'Color' control panel) set at (light green):
Red: 0
Blue: 58
Green: 58
This scheme looks good in 256 colors, but looks the best at 1,000's of colors or better.
(NOTE: The above settings are entered through the Apple RGB color picker. To access this picker from the color picker dialog, click the 'More Choices' button. If there is only a button titled 'Fewer Choices', then don't click any buttons. There should be a few icons on the left side of the window. Choose the 'Apple RGB' icon. You should get three sliders labeled Red, Green, and Blue. Enter in the appropriate values in the boxes on the right of the sliders.)
Desktop Patterns - Any silvery or dark greenish pattern should look nice. I have created some patterns specially designed to use with Q's Revenge, but don't be afraid to experiment.
Known Bugs
- None that I know of, but if you find any, let me know.
